How to Apply:

1. Purchase the open call entry through our website.

2. Submit images and biography via email – details will be sent to applicants upon purchase.

3. Share on social media with hashtag #SaltaireGalleryOpenCall 

Who Can Apply?

Artists working in painting and drawing are welcome. We encourage established and emerging artists with a body of consistent work to apply before midnight on June 29th. Successful applicants will be notified by July 3rd.

Your Submission:

This call is for small-format artworks priced below £1,000; we can accept works up to 70 cm in height and width.

All relevant information will be included in an Applicant Pack sent to all applicants, detailing the submission process. We request high-quality images of up to 5 artworks in JPEG or PDF format and a brief biography/artist's statement.

More Information:

• Submissions must adhere to the specified rules to be reviewed by the gallery.

• Copyright remains with the artist, but entrants consent to their work appearing on our website and social media.

• All submitted work must be your own; AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.

• Artworks must be of usable weight and discernible by the gallery team.

• Artworks can be up to 70 cm at their widest point.

• The price of artwork must be £1000 or below (The gallery’s commission is 40%)

• The artwork must be dropped off at the gallery between the 10th and 13th of July during the gallery's opening hours.
