Drawing Classes
Learn classical drawing techniques inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Michelangelo in our Tutored Drawing Course. This course covers composition, proportion, shading, and perspective through engaging lessons. You will understand the use of line, value, and form to create dynamic compositions while exploring mediums such as pencil, charcoal, and ink. By studying the work of the great masters and still life, you'll develop your own artistic style with technical guidance. Throughout the course, you'll receive constructive feedback from your instructor and peers to improve your work. Each relaxed and fun 2-hour lesson focuses on completing a finished drawing, tailored to individual needs and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist aiming to refine your skills, this course will help you achieve your artistic goals. Join us to build a strong foundation in classical drawing and create beautifully rendered drawings. All materials are provided.

“Nina is a great teacher, giving good advice and help where needed while encouraging everyone to work in their own way. The classes are focused, but good fun, with different challenges each week. I really enjoy going and would recommend.”

Led by artist Nina Hunter, we'll spend sunny evenings sketching people, nature, and architecture in Roberts Park and the historic village.
No pressure, just good company, fresh air, and a chance to unwind with pencil and paper in one hand and a drink in the other.
If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll cosy up in the gallery for some still life drawing and great conversations—either way, you’ll leave each session feeling inspired and creatively refreshed.
