FRANK ZIKO is a concert pianist and piano teacher based in Leeds. Frank has performed as a soloist throughout Europe and has been the winner and awarded participant in piano competitions.
Frank graduated from Leeds College of Music (BA) and the University of York (MA) with distinction under Jacob Fichert and has taught students of all ages, levels and backgrounds for the last 12 years. Although largely self-taught in Jazz, Frank was mentored by the late Grammy Award winner, composer/ pianist Milcho Leviev and has also participated in masterclasses by the likes of Paul-Badura Skoda, Bernard Ringeissen, Peter Hill and others.
The recital will feature a richly varied programme of works by Rachmaninoff, Jessica Williams, Brad Mehldau, Fazil Say, Julian Cochran, alongside some of Frank's own original compositions and arrangements.
